Welcome to Bible Calling. Our mission is simple and heartfelt: to share the timeless peace, living hope, and transformative love of Jesus Christ through clear, biblically grounded reflections and devotionals.
Our Purpose & Christian Mission
In a noisy and hurried world filled with anxiety and uncertainty, the human heart continually longs for a place of spiritual quietness. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God.”
Bible Calling was created to provide a digital sanctuary where believers, seekers, and the weary can pause, open the Word of God, and receive genuine biblical encouragement. We believe that Jesus Christ is our peace (Ephesians 2:14), and that His words provide steadfast anchor points for daily life.
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
Our Editorial Philosophy
We hold a deep reverence for the Scriptures and a serious commitment to our readers. Our editorial standards are guided by four core principles:
- Faithful to Scripture: Every article, prayer, and devotional is anchored in the Holy Bible. We strive to present biblical truths accurately, avoiding sensationalism, out-of-context quoting, or theological distortions.
- Christ-Centered Focus: We point our readers toward the person, teachings, grace, and cross of Jesus Christ. He is not merely an example of good living, but the living Lord who redeems, forgives, and restores.
- Practical & Compassionate: Biblical theology is not meant to remain abstract. We connect eternal scripture truths to ordinary, everyday realities — grief, worry, marriage, parenting, patience, and forgiveness.
- Original & Thoughtful: We do not rely on clickbait or empty filler. Each article is crafted with care, prayer, and rigorous biblical reflection to provide real spiritual substance.
An Independent Christian Ministry
Bible Calling is an independent Christian editorial publication created and maintained by a dedicated group of Christian writers, Bible teachers, and believers. We are not affiliated with any commercial book series or corporate trademark; our name represents our shared calling to hear Christ's voice through Scripture and heed His call to love, follow, and trust Him daily.
Independence & Attribution
This website is independently created and operated. It is not the official Jesus Calling website. Our articles are original reflections inspired by Scripture and by the devotional tradition of Jesus Calling by Sarah Young. We encourage readers to purchase the official book to support the author's work.
